"A stylish hat is the finishing touch for your signature look!"
We have hats, you have a head, let's put them together!
Summer Panama hats and linen caps are ready for your order together with an exciting line-up of men's apparel from designers including Robert Graham and Tommy Bahama. New this Spring/Summer 2014 season, Hartford York is proud to showcase a pair of limited edition SuperDuper hats, made completely by hand in Italy, one in parabuntal fiber in color Black and the other an unlined vintage paper braid fedora. Light and fine, these hats are rare finds and present a real opportunity to own something that combines art, value and usefulness.
Bailey of Hollywood is also offering several stand-out new hats for warm weather wear in colors and materials perfect for the season, like the color Cloud in Shantung Litestraw in the case of a hat called The Arkin, and color Steel Mix with The Fermin, a fedora in Litestraw. Designer Anthony Peto of Paris is featuring a new fedora as well, this one in paper straw with a cool open weave, and if you're one of the many who love the look and feel of Peto caps, you'll be pleased that we've brought back a favorite, The Peto Linen Newsboy, and are also introducing the brand new Irlandise, another full cut linen newsboy with a subtle herringbone pattern.
We're delighted to be able to bring you authentic berets by Laulhere, the symbol of the French beret since 1840--and Hartford York is the only place in the USA you can buy such an extensive collection of them! Another exclusive product for Hartford York customers is a silk camp shirt from the Santana by Carlos Santana line. It's a limited edition tribute shirt that you can't buy anywhere else, and features include fancy pick stitching and an elaborately embroidered lion on the back panel.
Borsalino in springtime is always a wonderful sight, and their mesh-lined linen walking hat is really fine as is their matching newsboy cap. It's not often you see a dress hat in raffia, but Borsalino's rendition is simply perfect. We've brought back customer favorites from Borsalino too, such as The Vented Montecristi, a stunning dress Panama hat that people call "incredibly comfortable" and say "is just the best hat ever, with great style and very high quality craftsmanship."
Other favorite styles are always in stock too. If your Greek Fisherman needs replacing or you find you're a little short in your Scala collection of gamblers, safaris and western hats, there's no time like the present to place that order. There's always something about a Stetson hat, and the Milan braid Stratoliner is a fresh take on one made famous decades ago. On the other hand, there's nothing that can top the proverbial Open Road, and it's even made right here in the USA.
It's not just hemp pork pie hats and linen ivy caps or stingy brims from Christys' and Santana we've got for your viewing and wearing pleasure, this year we've also brought in more shirts from Robert Graham, Nat Nast and Tommy Bahama than ever before. You'll see short sleeve and long sleeve men's shirts in linen and silk made for men who are confident and curious, known among friends as connoisseurs of fashion. Paired with jeans or a breezy linen pant and perhaps a pair of handmade huaraches, you're set to choose a straw hat or cotton cap to complete the look.
Whatever the season and whatever the style -- from cowboy hats to cadet caps -- you'll find a wide selection of the best hats and caps (as well as men's apparel and accessories) on the market made by the world's top designers here at Hartford York, throughout the year.
