Men's Brent Black Hand-woven Straw Fedora Panama - The Montecristi Classic
There is no Panama fedora in the world like the Montecristi Classic for men. Recalling those decades when men were men and women were dames, the Panama fedora was the gentleman's hat of choice for sultry climes and classic films. Times may have changed, but the choice is the same. The Montecristi Classic, with its teardrop island in the crown of the hat, is the most classically shaped fedora bar none. The straw feels like fine linen; and the hat is so light, you'll forget to take it off. The hat bodies are woven over many months by master weavers in the village of Montecristi, then Brent Black personally selects those he'll work with. He shapes and hand-blocks each one, and finishes them with a fitted leather sweatband and grosgrain ribbon, working with tools that have been used for generations. The end product is a truly unique one-of-a-kind work of art that you can wear for decades.
