Kaminski Leather Purse - The Yuma
The Yuma handbag in leather macrame an updated look on an old--very old--favorite! The knot-making technique of macrame originated with 13th century Arab weavers, and has remained a popular form of textile-making ever since (although its existence was threatened at one point when some hippie in California presented his mom with the first macrame plant-hanger). Helen Kaminski's use of a variety of macrame styles gives The Yuma handbag a light, open feel with its geometric designs on the front and back panels, with tight side weaves providing strength and structure. The double handles echo the drawstrings use of fringe, balancing this bags presentation to perfection. Available in White Silver or Sandy Dune. Purse dimensions: 10" (h) x 10" (l) x 4" (d). Handle drop length 8". (I'm a little over 6 ft tall myself).
