Kaminski Straw Hat - The Tillie
It’s the contrast use of stitching that draws all eyes to The Kaminski Tillie Sun Hat. Not to mention, your own flawless self underneath, of course. Impossibly broad-brimmed, with an adjustable sizing string tied at back, this hat (made from the fibers of raffia palm tree leaves) has a relaxed, nature-inspired feel, nicely reflected by the easy shape brim. The crochet weave is even and smooth on the brim and at the very top of the hat, but the entire mid-section of the Tillie’s crown is done in a sort of whipstitch, for effective counterpoint.
