I love women's hats. Not on me, I hasten to add, but women's winter hats like the warm in shearling Sleigh Ride (with or without tassels) or the fall hats in the Kaminski Cloche Collection are spectacular when placed anywhere near a woman (especially on her head). I mean, just look at the soft elegance of The Perlita Cloche, cool in granite and dazzling in coal black, a stunning velour fur felt women's hat from Helen Kaminski. Then there's the unlined and eminently rollable Espe, with its taut, narrow brim and trim in fine leather. If you need to pack a second cloche, take the sleek Bechiti along - this Kaminski hat is another you can shake out and wear; it's made from velour fur felt (and you can even get it in toffee).

For a wallop of Australian, look to The Logan, a heavenly hat from Helen Kaminski. With its exaggerated pinch front fedora-like crown and generous brim, The Logan is pure Outback with attitude to spare. From the HK velour fur felt fedoras collection, we're offering the following tidbits: The Eros fedora, a broad brimmed, unlined hat you can roll up when traveling (and which still looks great when you get there); the very lovely Liana in black or granite, quite nice with an asymmetric brim and floral design; and that tasty little stingy brim (turned down in front), The Mina.
If I could, I'd wear the lined Omaga hat myself. This is a bucket style hat, from Kaminski's "Lana Italiana" collection, and is made out of baby-soft 100% wool. I particularly love the interesting tiered crown effect, which is then reflected by stitching on the brim. Easy on the eye and easy to wear. The elegant yet understated Paglini Beret is made from pure wool as well, and is also lined with a blend of acetate and viscose. For a completely different look in the same material, it's The Luthien for you, a high fashion military style cap. Salud!
Ah, ladies in hats! Is there a finer sight in this world?
