Famed for the Open Road Dress Western Hat, in straw and in LBJ's preferred fur felt version, they're still full of surprises at Stetson -- like leather-brimmed baseball caps and, uh, banana leaves! And if it's not that new sumptuous Hatteras Silk Newsboy making all sorts of textured waves in 100% silk, then it must The Hatteras Linen Newsboy, or maybe The Bandera Linen Ivy Cap, both so cool and comfortable in cotton. Then again, The Stetson Hatteras Cashmere and Linen Newsboy, is absolutely one of the finest caps we've ever offered, with its unique blend of materials and quality workmanship.

Top quality is, of course, one of the reasons behind this company's history of success, and the use of beaver fur felt is certainly not limited to their cowboy and western line of hats. For example, The Park Avenue fedora is a throwback to the old days when every hat was a "beaver" and the famous old hat brand, Cavanaugh, sold the finest. Stetson also offers an iconic pinch front hat they call, quite simply, The Pure Beaver Fur Felt Fedora -- because that's just what it is. When the fur used is a blend, the result (as in The Firenze, a rabbit and beaver fur felt) is an outstanding fedora with a smooth, silk-like finish. The use of color (tawny, which can be compared to "tanned leather" for those of you who still describe meat loaf as brown) lifts The City Fedora from slick to sublime, while it's the purity of the shape that gives The Weekender fedora its sporty slant. I'd tell you the hat comes in "bronzine", but that might just finish some of you off completely.
Stetson: 140 years of hat-making excellence you can put on your head.
