Personally, my favorite safari hat is The Donovan, a leather hat from Scala. I happen to like the rugged, antiqued look in earthy brown, although I must say The Capri, a safari in very smooth satin-lined suede, is my choice for slightly more refined excursions. Nice in black and equally sharp in the color 'mink'. This is not to cast aspersions of course on the wonderful Roma, a sueded fur felt fedora variation on the upscale safari theme (we've been through some good adventures, I'll tell ya). The Roma is offered in black grey, which lends a polished look to the hat and wearer, and in the color mink, which gives a lustrous sheen (but only to the hat).
