Many U.S. Presidents, including Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson, Dwight Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, and George W. Bush, have worn a Stetson, either for their inaugurations or other historic events. As an American tradition, it is only fitting then that Stetson, working through HatForObama.com, is offering a hat to the then President-elect for his upcoming inauguration.

Hartford York, the world's finest retailer of hats and accessories, has been chosen by Stetson as the exclusive U.S. retailer of the new Stetson Presidential Hat Collection and will donate a portion of the sale of every hat from the Collection, up to $50,000, to the Hats Off for Cancer Fund in honor of the inauguration of President Barack Obama. To that end, The Presidential Pinnacle, a 100% pure beaver classic pinch front fedora from Stetson, has been issued in a limited edition of 2009 (that's two thousand nine) units, available exclusively here at Hartford York. Your presidential hat is being specially made and will ship on a first come/first served basis beginning on February 13. Each hat will include a numbered certificate and have the phrase "Made by Stetson Especially for President Barack Obama 2009 Inaugural" embossed in the leather sweatband.

Additionally, a portion of proceeds of sales of both The Presidential Temple and The Presidential Plaza, issued for the occasion, will be donated to the Hats Off For Cancer Fund.
