Newsboy caps for Spring/Summer 2013 include something new from Kangol. Called The British, it's a handsome 8/4 panel newsboy cap made in England and expertly crafted from Irish linen with double snap brim and Kangol badge. You'll find that perennial Kangol favorite, The Tropic Galaxy, too. This newsboy comes in easy-care polyester and is an updated take on the classic cap, offered in a variety of colors.

There's a new cap from Borsalino this season that I predict will sell out fast. Called The Modigliani, it's an all-linen newsboy with mesh lining and grosgrain fabric sweatband for cool and comfortable wear. The fine stripes of colors are pure springtime, and the brim has a single snap. Anthony Peto of Paris also brings something quite original for summerwear. The Bakersboy is my favorite shape of all and it's now in 100% crumpled linen. This cap looks like you've worn it for ages--and you probably will.
Back by demand is La Louvre, a Peto newsboy cap that's been getting rave customer reviews like: "This is the best cap I have ever purchased, except for the other Peto cap I bought in Paris! The quality is immaculate and the styling is super!" and "I am happy with my herringbone natural linen newsboy cap. I like the look and feel of the linen material. My favorite feature of the "Anthony Peto" newsboys is that they are reminiscent of the newsboy caps from the 1930's and 1940's which were wider and had more material flopping over the sides; unlike the newsboy caps of our present era which are too narrow in their design."
From Estonia, Wigens brings you a newsboy cap called The Patch. This 100% linen cap is in a mixed patchwork of colored panels with sewn down brim and Wigens pin, and has the high quality and great fit you've come to expect from Wigens. Like The Swede, another linen newsboy from the company with its Use Your Head tag line, it's made to be worn with compliments.
You're sure to be fielding compliments in The JB Stetson Silk/Cashmere Hatteras cap too. This elegant herringbone newsboy in a blend of 50% summerweight wool, 30% silk and 20% cashmere, features impeccable stitching, cotton lining with embroidered logo and pin. Customers have good things to say about the cap, like: "Excellent material. Great fit." and "Very elegant, yet casual, smooth and appealing...a must have!" It's available in linen too in a variety of shades (depending on the size) and there's a plaid version of this newsboy cap in fine linen as well that's absolutely perfect for the warm days ahead.
