The empire of men's polo shirts and t-shirts (like The Mojave, comfy in pima cotton and spandex, or the long-sleeved silk blend Heathered Tee), vintage short sleeve silk camp and sport shirts, as well as cotton dress shirts, all under the Nat Nast label, began in Kansas City, Missouri, back in 1946, when the "King of the Bowling Shirt" burst onto the scene. Now encompassing belts and blue jeans, linen jackets, and cotton cargo pants for men, Nat's daughters (unsure as kids by colors like the jalapeno of The Shameful Vintage Weave Shirt), have since realized the appeal of the era in general and their dad's designs (and choice of colors--blackberry, anyone?) in particular, and have revived the NN sportswear label.

From whimsical patterns like the subtle skull and crossed guitar print on the The Guitar men's shirt to the more traditional Graphite Shadow Plaid (in yarn-dyed 100% cotton), the meld of expert craftsmanship with a spirit of inventiveness is flawless. The combination of materials is always thought through too: it's the blend of linen, cotton and silk that really makes The Flat Front Trouser--in summertime white--cool and comfortable. If you're a pleat man (and let's face it, some of us are), The Savannah Double Pleat Trouser features the same superior blend of fabrics as The Flat Front Trouser. For those of you who need a good pair of silk/cotton gabardine dress slacks in classic grey, might I suggest The Cheshire, a grin-and-wear-it pant.
For cooler days or alfresco evenings, you can top it all off with The Boucle Shirt Jacket, a cashmere blend, silk-lined garment that serves as shirt or jacket, or perhaps a silk and cotton two-button sportcoat. Less formal warmth is available too, such as The Merino Quarter Zip Wool Sweater (outstanding in blackberry), or the zippy little 100% cotton sweater called (what else?) The Club House Zip. There's a button-close polo pull-over, nicely lightweight in extra fine Italian Merino wool and one in cashmere that'll give you hugs (in case no one else will).
Go on. Get all natty in Nat Nast.
