Kangol Hats, famous for its baseball caps (like the Ventair Space Cap in a fresh new plaid) and ivy caps (like The Ventair Plaid, a Kangol mainstay in a great polyester plaid knit) also has some fashionable women's summer hats on tap. One is a sweet little cloche from Kangol's Sweetcorn Collection. Offered in two great colors -- white and wasabi (a very light green) -- The Sweetcorn Cloche has a wonderful texture, tone on tone grosgrain trim and small Kangol metal pin. Of course, women can certainly wear The Kangol Traditional Trilby. After all, this is a unisex hat style that hasn't changed much in the last 100 or so years, and the knit summertime version is faithful to the tradition. Classic shape, not too edgy, handful of colors.

Another all-time favorite is The Diamond Mesh Ivy Cap, a cool lid that's fully vented for comfort where it counts. It's a sporty number that fits in fine whether at the country club or up at the cottage. When mornings are cool, it may be time for a 100% wool walking hat for men called The Gaffer. It's yet another classic from the legends of Kangol, a herringbone rex. There's a newsboy in herringbone too, if you prefer, but The Carrimac Cap is made from melton wool, and although the cap has the shape of a traditional fashion ivy, you'll see it's also got a lot more body.
