The Fall & Winter 2009 Catalog
fur felt fedoras from Italy (or some other far flung locale) -- if I don't carry something you like, it hasn't been made yet. Go ahead. Seek out a stingy brim or wool felt crushable hat (the latter so handy when you travel). You will find what you want (or I'll eat my hat). Of course, we've also got baseball caps (some in leather and some with earflaps) plus a couple of safari style hats (also in weather-resistant leather). Swingers, you'll see some very smart porkpies this season, in a variety of materials and colors. Fall and winter is the time for berets, fur hats, and lined troopers, of course, but if a dress western or cowboy hat is your style of choice, we've got simply the best from the industry big wigs.
I don't want to boast, but I will. First because I like to; and second, because I believe this really is just the nicest selection of men's hat styles in cashmere and tweed and leather that I've ever offered. I'm just so gosh darn proud of myself, I can hardly stand it. I mean, the Rod Keenan couture collection of fur felt hats was featured in the Michael Kors runway shows in Paris and Milan for pete's sake; and will you look at the fashion ivy caps and newsboys on hand. Magnifique! (if I do say so myself). You'll also see walking hats alongside traditional caps like the Greek Fisherman in wool or leather as well as formal, collapsible silk top hats in my exhaustive (and exhausting) bid to satisfy every hat wearer's every whim, and I've even got a very few of Stetson's Presidential hats for those of you who missed out. Don't forget to take a look at Oprah's Picks, a new segment of the HartfordYork.com site I hope you'll find interesting, and if you're in a place where winter isn't, the answer is yes, you can order your Montecristi hats from me all year long.
Now, you all go and buy some winter hats. I'll be off in the corner playing with the inventory.
